The innovative Stonelore manufacturing process, known as Ingrain HD Technology, enhances the traditional engineered quartz stone pressing method with a nano-ink printing application. The effect is to create an unrivalled aesthetic with the renowned durability of quartz worktops that is safe and reliable for use in even the most demanding of kitchen environments.  

Ingrain HD Technology is the innovative process through which Stonelore slabs combine the original pressing method of engineered quartz slabs with a revolutionary nano-ink surface printing technology. Ingrain HD achieves a four dimensional effect, with the nano-ink ingrained into the surface up to 2mm via high temperature and pressure. This technology achieves the most realistic surface pattern, optimising the natural translucency of the stone that is indistinguishable from natural marble.  

The Ingrain HD quartz slab pressing technology enables selected veining to contour match to the printed surface. Not all vein and colour pattern can be matched, however the effect is beyond any engineered stone process ever created. Combining lifelong colour stability, and the renowned durability of engineered quartz surfaces, Ingrain HD imbues Stonelore with a stunning surface aesthetic.

Additionally, after receiving your initial quote, you can conveniently log into our customer portal to modify the colour and thickness of your quotation.

Our sales team strives to provide you with the best price possible, and therefore, the quote may take up to 48 hours to prepare. We understand that time is of the essence, and we aim to deliver your quote as soon as possible, while also ensuring its accuracy and competitiveness. Once you decide to purchase Stonelore worktops from Gemini Worktops, our team of experts will come to your home to take a precise template of the worktops or island using the latest laser technology. This process typically takes between 1 and 3 hours, during which our skilled team will measure the kitchen units, sinks, hobs, and any other necessary features for your design. Our templating team provides comprehensive coverage across the entire UK, but we do require your presence on-site to finalise all details and sign off on the template. 

Once the laser template is completed, it is emailed to our technical department and prepared for the production of your Gemini Worktops. After the template, our Gemini team will contact you to ensure that everything went smoothly and discuss the next steps with you. We will also inform you of any changes made during the template that may affect the initial quotation and confirm the final price with you before proceeding with production. Gemini Worktops manage the whole process for you, ensuring an easy and enjoyable experience whilst bringing your dream kitchen to life. 

Because our manufacturing facility is located in the UK, customers can expect a speedy turnaround from template to fitting. In fact, typically our fitting team can install your new Stonelore kitchen worktops within just 2 weeks from template . Despite this fast service Gemini Worktops always prioritises quality and ensures that every worktop is finished to an exceptional standard. 

All Stonelore worktops are manufactured using state-of-the-art CNC technology before being expertly hand finished. We will not compromise on our quality standards but we do promise that we work with all our customers to meet time sensitive installation dates. 

Please note seasonally busy periods of the year, especially November and December may involve slightly longer lead times. We recommend customers book their template dates as early as possible for pre-Christmas installation. 

Stonelore countertops do not require sealing or waxing and can remain a beautiful feature in your home for years to come if properly cared for. It's recommended to promptly wipe up spills and avoid placing extremely hot pans directly onto quartz worktops. However, in case of accidents, it's best to use a non-abrasive cleaner such as Bar Keepers Friend or simply soap and water to wipe away any spills.
