Cut Outs & Shaping
An Inset or Overmount Sink Cut Out refers to the process of cutting a hole or space in a kitchen worktop to fit an inset sink. An inset sink, also known as a drop-in sink, is a type of sink that sits on top of the worktop with the rim of the sink overlapping the countertop.
The cut out is made using our professional CNC router technology, and it is important to ensure that the dimensions of the cut out match the dimensions of the sink to prevent any gaps or instability.
The purpose of the cut-out is to allow the inset sink to be dropped into the worktop, leaving the lip of the sink exposed for easy cleaning and maintenance. Inset sinks are popular in many modern kitchens as they are relatively easy to install and offer a sleek and stylish look.
